Nov 15, 2016 · In an ideal “Google” world, this could be true, but having setup my wife’s website a year ago, I tend to view Google as a “dumb” system, and alas a necessary evil, not to mention the fact that Yoast and other SEO marketers do make money out of it (good for you).

Then I think it is my router blocking Google sites, but it is not. Now I can run Gmail (which is mail.google.com), but I cannot do a google search or use speedtest.net (which using Google AdSense I guess). Also, the Omnisearch bar does not display results on the fly as well. Technically, of course, Google doesn't know anything about you. But it stores tremendous amounts of data about you and your activities on its servers, from the content you create to the searches

The message "Google doesn't provide another way to sign in to this account", or "cannot find account" , is not good news. Only two possibilities here - your account is deleted/permanently disabled, or you have made a mistake inputting the account name.
