Nov 01, 2012 · Hello, I have those two routers (Linksys WRT120N and Belkin f5d7230-4) and I want to install openwrt in either one of them. Neither of them is in "supported devices", but I couldn't find anything that says that it won't work (dd-wrt does not work on wrt120n, don't know if it would mean that openwrt won't work either). The same thing is happening with newer WRT3200ACMs. It turns out that Linksys has changed nand memory chips on newer models since Sept. of 2017. This may hold true for the wrt32x as well. So I guess ppl with newer wrt3200/32x may not be able to load dd-wrt. I read this on the DD-WRT Forums.

The micro version of DD-WRT is the only version for Broadcom routers with 2MB flash. It is stripped-down with only basic features to fit in the limited flash space, and additional software packages are unlikely to fit.
