Cricket wants to charge me $10/month for a hotspot, which is ridiculous - I'm already paying for my plan and paying for my data; I'm not going to pay for it again. I had tethering on my HTC One under the same Cricket plan, also without paying extra. Prior to this, attempting to enable hotspot would direct me to the ATT or cricket website. Unfortunately, I am still unable to add the hotspot feature to my device through the Cricket website. I suppose after these 2 billing periods my hotspot will cease to work. Edit: Forgot to mention, am on the now-grandfathered Unlimited 55 plan. Mar 30, 2017 · I have noticed that the APN for hotspot is no longer working. Is anyone else having the same issue. If so has anyone discovered a fix. I am thinking cricket caught on. And to whoever was asking about how much data you can use on unlimited. I hit over a 100 GB on my three unlimited lines. I'm also curious how that latency test has been going.
