Its app, while pleasant enough, is currently setup to help more with making sure your Sonos system works in unison with any other Sonos devices you may have and not to configure a home theater system.

Set up a new Sonos system with Beam Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android. Tap Set up a new Sonos system, then create or sign in to your Sonos account. Tap Set up speakers. Open the Sonos app. Select Set up a new Sonos system. Sign into your existing Sonos account, or select Create account to create a new one. Select Continue to proceed with the setup process. Select Standard setup for your Sonos One to continue. Select Next to proceed with Standard setup. Your Sonos One should already be powered on.
